Have fun and get some exercise on a paddleboard or even do a little afternoon yoga session on it. Or just paddle your SUP board around in the calm gulf water exploring, and not least enjoy the stunning colors as the sun sets over the bay.

Bioluminescent kayak tour

Chill in the hammocks under the palm trees, while watching the beautiful sunset in the bay, waiting for it to get dark - dark enough to start the night kayak tour to see the bioluminescence in the water.

Then we’ll take you on a guided kayak tour exploring the bioluminescent bay of Costa Rica. Splash your paddle against the water, and you’ll see spinning plankton rain down like an explosion of fireworks in the water.

Practical details:

16:00 Paddleboard rental (1 hour)
18:00 Bioluminescent kayak tour (1 hour)

(If you want to rent the board longer, please contact us for quote. Or if you rather rent the SUP earlier during the day, that can be arranged)

- Place of departure and return: the Bahia Rica beach (Link to google map)
- Capacity: Maximum 4 persons (if you are more persons, you can do the paddleboarding in two rounds)

- Age limits:
18 years for SUP rental (children can rent SUPs under supervision of an adult)
10 years for the bioluminescent kayak tour

What to bring:
- Sandals or water shoes
- Light clothes that can get wet and/or a change of clothes
- Swimsuit
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat/caps
- Head lamp (if you have one)
- Bug spray
- Towel and change of clothes
