Walk on the beach!
Here at Bahia Rica we spend most of our days sea kayaking and sport fishing, but there are several nice options in the area for other activities as well. One such option is to walk along the beach between Tango Mar in Tambor and Montezuma on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.
It is only about 6 km and about 2 hours – if you walk straight without stopping. However we recommend to plan for at least another hour as there are numerous nice photo options, so you’ll find yourself stopping a lot to take pictures. And it is of course perfect to stop and have a swim at one of the numerous gorgeous beaches.
The walk along the beach will take you past the Romelia Wildlife Refuge and you have to cross the Cocal river as well as the waterfall close to Tango Mar.
