Spanish Courses

Bahia Rica can now offer a Spanish courses! Whether this is your first attempt to learn the language or the culmination of a lifelong quest, Costa Rica is an excellent place to study Spanish. The “Ticos” are well known for what’s widely agreed upon, as the “cleanest” and most understandable accent of all Spanish speaking countries. Studying at Bahía Rica will give you the chance to practice with the locals and improve upon your learning in a fun and supportive environment. At Bahia Rica we offer beginners courses in Spanish.

All prices above are per person and in US$
- Small groups and interactive learning!
- 20 lessons per week (average of 4 lessons per day) including instruction materials.
- New classes begin on request and runs Monday to Friday.
- Accommodation in single or double room including breakfast.

In average you will receive 2 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of applied learning each day (Monday-Friday). Applied learning is where you can put your knowledge to use and reinforce what you’ve already learned. This might mean a scavenger hunt, a board game, volleyball on the beach or a walk in the neighborhood with your instructor. If you opt for the combined kayak and Spanish course, you will have the opportunity to use your newfound language skills with our Tico kayak guide.
